AP Bio Camping Trip Postponed

Hello All,

I regret to report that I must postpone the AP Bio Camping trip. The trip encountered several problems, including a short turnaround time for permission slips, some students don't have physicals on record at the school, some parents were unaware of the trip, and our female chaperon had to back out due to an emergency. 

Be on the lookout for some dates and an updated permission slip request for early July. Get your physicals in if you don't have one on file. Let me know if you're still interested in going.

AP Bio Exam Breakfast

Hello All,

I am not feeling 100% and I'm going to take the day off tomorrow to recuperate. I wish you all the best of luck on tomorrow's exam. Below are instructions for tomorrow:

1. Come to school by 7:35 AM and go to my wife's office in room 310. She has awesome bagels and cream cheese and butter for you all for breakfast. She will be there at 7:40 AM and the front desk has a list of your names to allow you to go up and get some food. 
2. Be ready to head to the exam and begin the pre-registration at 8 AM. You will be in room 701, starting with Mr. Ploegman and finishing with Ms. Sung-Kim. 
3. Important: If they don't have calculators for you, let them know where they can find calculators in my room. There are boxes beneath my table in Room 425. Calculators can go in the boxes and someone can bring them back to our classroom after the exam. 
4. During class, I want you all to start to discuss what you want to do for our Post AP Biology Exam Projects. Make a list and submit it to the substitute. 
   

You all were great on Saturday, and throughout the year. I know you can do it on this exam.

AP Bio Quarter 1 Review

Hello All,

You will find that the website has been updated. There is now a link to Quarter 1 review questions. There is an answer key for MC and Essays at the bottom. The Quarter 1 Final will be 55 - 60 questions, including 2 essays. The Quarter 1 Final is on Thursday and Friday, October 23rd and 24th. We will also begin AP Bio reviews on Fridays, starting October 17th, 3:30 - 4:30.

If your grade is low...

You may need to develop better weekly habits. Cramming work will be stressful for you, and for me. We must start developing good work habits now if we hope to have them in college and going forward.
